We are walking virtually around Australia in 365 days!
When we’re not producing creative solutions for our ethically conscious clients, C8 are actively committed to supporting positive social causes.
A major health issue experienced by many Australians is poor mental health, in the form of depression, anxiety and other mood disorders that has undoubtedly been exacerbated by the many added stresses of 2020/21. A few months ago, our C8 team successfully walked 1,032km virtually to Byron Bay, for a great cause – Mood Active – a charity that promotes the power of exercise to support mental health.
To keep active and bring us back on the walking track, our ambitious and committed team decided to tackle another walk. This time, it’s right around Australia, in 365 days.
We started our walk in Byron Bay and have navigated the top of the map making it to Exmouth having covered 6,400km. Since the beginning of the year, the Circul8 team has tackled the 6,400km to Exmouth, by logging our walks, runs, cycles and even paddles to reach the count.
We now have the remainder of the year to walk down and along the west and south coast of Australia and back up to Sydney. Stay tuned for how we get on.

Although our original ‘Virtual Walk’ from Canberra to Byron is complete for the year, our GoFundMe page is still available for donations if you wish to contribute to this worthwhile cause: https://www.gofundme.com/f/d5vpc-walk-for-mental-health/
